Week of March 25th, 2019

Math – This week students will finish up working in Unit 8. Students will become familiar with fraction number stories and comparing fractions to one another. Study guides will be sent home Tuesday to help prepare students for the unit assessment on Thursday. Students can also continue their independent learning at home by visiting mobymax.com.  Our school is listed as Ray elem, and students know their online usernames and passwords.

 

Language Arts – This week, we will wrap up our character studies unit.  This week we will learn more about different genres of stories.  We will take our unit 3 assessment on Friday. Students can also continue independent reading practice at home on Headsprout.com.  The class username is mmwebb1. Students know their individual passwords once on the class website.

 

Social Studies – This week we will continue learning about advancements in history women have made as we begin our Women’s history month unit.

 

Science – This week students will continue working in our Science unit – Earth Movements.  This week students will wrap up Earth and its landforms, and get all of their final questions about Earth answered.
