Math – This week students will continue working in Unit 6 which focuses on multi-digit addition and subtraction. Students can also continue their individualized math lessons on mobymax.com from home. If you have difficulty logging in from home, please let me know.
Language Arts – This week, we will continue reading the novel Red by Ray school parent Liesl Shurtliff. In addition, students will read the Journey’s story “Luke Goes To Bat”. Our vocabulary words for this week are: practice, hurried, position, roared, extra, curb, cheered, and final. We will take a reading comprehension and vocabulary test on this week’s Journey’s story on Friday.
Social Studies – This week we will learn more about Helen Keller as we begin spotlighting women for Women’s history month.
Science – This week, we will continue our science unit – Land and Water. This week students will learn how land masses move.
