Winter Assembly – Second grade will perform Feliz Navidad on Friday, December 23rd at 9:15am in the auditorium. Parents are welcome to attend. We are asking students to wear blue or black bottoms (jeans are fine). For tops, students may wear a red, white, green, or blue top. Girls may also wear a dress if they like, in any of the colors we have listed. Students may also wear sombreros, reindeer antlers, or Christmas hats on their heads. Please do not purchase anything for this performance.
Pizza Party, and Charlie and The Chocolate Factory – Students have earned a pizza party this Friday, December 23rd. I will purchase the pizza, however, we will need paper plates, and napkins. If you would like to send either of those items in, please let me know. Pizza will be served as a snack, and is NOT the students’ lunch. Please still send a regular lunch to school with your child on Friday. In the afternoon, we will watch the movie that coincides with the novel we have been reading Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. If you do not want your child to participate in either the pizza party or viewing the movie, please let me know.
