Math – This week students will continue working in Unit 4. Unit 4 focuses on time and introducing adding multi-digit numbers. Students can continue to work on mobymax.com from home. If you have difficulty logging in from home, please let me know.
Language Arts – This week, students will continue reading the novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl. In addition, students will read the Journey’s story “Super Storms”. Our vocabulary words for this week are: beware, damage, bend, flash, pounding, prevent, reach, and equal. Our high frequency words for the week are: before, eye, few, happy, high, my, open, people, starts, and yellow. We will take a reading comprehension and vocabulary test this Friday.
Social Studies – This week in Social Studies, we will begin learning about landforms.
Science – Students will explore how various solids interact with liquids as we continue to explore physical and chemical changes.
